Privacy Policy
How NeatlyThere handles data — covering both this website and the internal application we use to manage our own Amazon advertising and sales reporting.
Who we are
NeatlyThere ("we", "us", "our") is a consumer products brand selling bed sheet organizers, operating this website at www.neatlythere.com and selling through Amazon. You can reach us at any time at neatlytherestore@gmail.com.
Our internal Amazon application
We operate a private, internal software application that connects to Amazon's Advertising API and Selling Partner API. This section describes that application, and exists in part to satisfy the disclosure requirements of those APIs.
What it accesses
The application accesses data belonging solely to our own Amazon seller and advertising accounts. This includes advertising campaign, ad group, keyword and search term performance data; advertising spend and sales attribution; and our own order, sales and inventory data for products we sell. It does not access data belonging to any other seller, brand or advertiser.
Whose data this is
The application is used exclusively by us, for our own accounts. It is not offered, licensed, sold or made available to any third party, and no other person or business authorizes it or holds an account with it. It does not collect personal information from customers, visitors or any other individual.
Where Amazon returns order-related data that includes customer information, we use it only for the operational purposes Amazon permits — such as fulfillment and inventory planning — and we do not use it for advertising targeting, do not combine it with data from other sources, and do not disclose it to anyone.
How we use it
We use this data to report on and improve the performance of our own business: consolidating advertising reports, measuring advertising cost against sales, adjusting our own bids and budgets, managing our own keywords, and coordinating advertising spend with our own inventory levels.
How it is stored and protected
Data retrieved through these APIs is stored in private storage under our control, accessible only to us. Access credentials and API tokens are stored separately from application data with restricted file permissions, are never committed to source control, and are never transmitted to any third party. All communication with Amazon's APIs takes place over encrypted HTTPS connections. We retain retrieved data only as long as it is useful for business reporting, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, license, share or otherwise disclose data obtained through these APIs to any third party. We do not use it to build advertising audiences outside our own Amazon accounts, and we do not transfer it to any advertising network, data broker or analytics provider.
This website
When you visit www.neatlythere.com, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which links are clicked. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed. We use this only in aggregate to improve the site; we do not attempt to identify individual visitors.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not affect your ability to read or use this site.
Our site links to Amazon product pages. When you follow one of those links, Amazon's own privacy policy governs what happens from that point on, and we have no control over or access to what you do there beyond knowing that a link was clicked.
If you email us, we keep your message and address only so that we can reply and keep a record of the correspondence. We do not add you to any marketing list without your asking.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Because this site collects very little and our internal application collects none from the public, in most cases the answer will be that we hold nothing about you beyond anonymous analytics. Either way, write to neatlytherestore@gmail.com and we will respond.
Children
This site and our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and revise the date shown above. Material changes to how our internal application handles Amazon data will be reflected here before they take effect.
